Premiere!

Bolin Creek Unpaved: Saving Carrboro’s Last Forest premiered on Sunday 15th of January, 2017.  It opened to a nearly sold out showing, packing Carrboro’s Arts Center with about 290 people.

What was immediately apparent was the film’s ability to genuinely cross  the gap between ideas about how paving might affect watersheds into the reality of exactly what it does to watersheds.  Another prime focus of the film is engendering in the viewer just how valuable an intact riparian forest is for the environment, but also for our own quality of life.

Once you put a greenway through a forest, is it still a forest?
